Cruiser and I went to visit Lane Stubblefield, who lives atop Signal Hill, in Long Beach, California. Although new home building has slowly covered his area, there are lovely hiking paths that have been left throughout. We walked up over the top of the hill and back, did some shopping and finally drove down to Long Beach for a waterside lunch, where Cruiser was brought a chrome dog bowl of water by the waitress at Outback while Lane and I ate on their patio. Puppies are welcome and provided for in many places here in southern California. This shot on the left is a drinking fountain that has 3 levels of spouts...adult, kids, and dogs.
Later in the evening I went Swing Dancing in Westminster and saw a face or 2 I hadn't seen for 25 years. Tonight I'm going to try a studio in Newport Beach, hopefully seeing a few more faces from the past.
