The end of February and start of March has brought beautiful warm weather to Palm Desert, while the rains earlier in February have prompted an early spring of wildflowers throughout the area. The last few weeks has also been filled with concerts (jazz and Joshua Bell) and an evening seeing the Hubbard Dance Company of Chicago at the McCallum theater (only about a mile from our house). If you have the opportunity to see one of their performances by all means make the effort to get a ticket. Here is a short that gets interesting about 1/3 of the way through :http://www.hubbardstreetdance.com/_qt/bardo.html or a you tube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__mE2MBQ7O0
I continue to work here early each morning to be in sync with New York, while Cruiser waits ever so patiently for his 5 mile walk and croissant at the local Coffee Bean. Chuck is working in the office, and publishing Dancin.com Social Calendar, in Islandia, NY, where it isn't quite springtime yet, but will be soon.
Cruiser and I are presently in "the O.C." for a few days visiting friends. Today we treked to the top of the hills above all the houses in Tustin, and strolled the beach sidewalk on the Balboa Peninsula, but I think he still prefers his walks down El Paseo. He's a desert dog.
