This will probably be my last week in the desert, temperatures are in and out of triple digits now and I miss being home so it's time to pack the car. Cruiser is looking forward to it; or at least making sure he isn't left behind as I pack suitcases with what is left of my wardrobe. It's been a struggle, but at this stage I'm 65 pounds less than last year so all the clothing and shoes I own that still fit are going into a couple of suitcases in my trunk. This won't be the grand tour Chuck and I took on the way out, just as straight a line as I can plot to NY.
It's bathing suit, pool and party time here in So Cal as a large portion of the population strenuously celebrate Cinco De Mayo with music, Margaritas and vast quantities of Mexican food. Carl and Donna Eisler drove out her on Friday and I got a visit from my brother and his family today. So to all of you here in Sunny California, I will see you next for a couple of weeks in November. Until then, Chuck and I have plenty of room at the house in Hauppauge.
