Well gang, anyone trying to catch up with me for the next couple of months will find me at the Palm Desert house....cel phone number the same 631 area code. I just got back from NY after having long avoided jaw surgery for a hereditary problem, and my timing at the desert is very good. I was aiming to get this done and return by the time Chuck was ready to come out for the Palm Springs Tour (100 mile ride), but he was tied up with business and I got 2 avid cycling friends of his for house guests instead. The wild flowers should start blooming here soon as it was 80 degrees the last few days and looks to be holding. I have been successful so far in getting back to "me", I really was still hiding under all that weight and have lost 62 pounds so far; I'm closing in on where I want to be. This is the season of something to do every day in this area......concerts, art exhibits, plays and outdoor music, horse shows and a date festival, oh yes, and sunshine. There's a guest room at the house for anyone looking to get warm. Cruiser was happy to see me and has made it clear he missed his morning walks on El Paseo.
