Chuck and Bob Nystrom did an adventure race yesterday, and I have to admit I was slightly pouting that I didn't get to go see the park and cheer them on until I saw what he looked like when he got back. I had a perfectly wonderful day of reading in the sun, walking, and house cleaning; what a lucky girl! It was an orienteering race called the Genesis Adventures Sprint Adventure Racing Series Race #4, at Allamuchy Mountain State Park - Hackettstown, NJ. When they left they didn't know the whole race was orienteering, including the kayaking and mountain biking sections. He came back whipped and beaten up by nature. No pictures, he looked too bad.
